But our documents require that all owners carry liability insurance, and encourages contents and betterments and improvements coverage as well. This type of insurance is very reasonably priced and will save you tens of thousands in the event of a loss. We urge you to seek professional guidance from an insurance professional familiar with condo insurance to make sure you are adequately covered in the event of a loss as the Association's insurance for the interior of your unit is limited and may not necessarily pay to completely restore your unit as it currently exists.
