Having Problems with opening the Gate not calling your phone?

Has your phone has been programmed into the gate system and worked in the past, but now when a guest calls you from the gate, it doesn’t connect to your phone? The problem is most likely that you have accidentally blocked the number from your phone, or that your cell service has blocked it for you assuming it is some sort of spam.  This has been found to be the case with some phones that use AT&T, although it could happen with any phone.  If this occurs, here’s what you do. 

 
First - check to see if you accidentally blocked the gate phone number, which is 469-705-5858.  To find out if you have blocked this number, do a internet search on how to see blocked numbers for your type of phone. If you have blocked it, unblock it. We recommend creating a contact in your phone called Holly Glen Gate - that way when someone calls you from the gate, you’ll see that it is a number you want to answer.
 
Second - if you don’t find the number in your blocked numbers, and you use AT&T, try the following steps:
  • Open the AT&T app on your phone
  • Click on the My Wireless option
  • Scroll down and click on the device (meaning your phone)
  • Then click on manage device and features
  • Then look for AT&T mobile security and call protection
  • Then turn off that feature
Be aware that doing this might increase the number of spam calls you receive. If you don’t want to do that, you are welcome to contact AT&T to see if there’s another way for you to receive the number by having them remove that number from their suspected spam call list.
